Patagonian lamb has characteristics recognised world-wide, being lean, tender and having an exquisite flavour. This is due to extensive rearing in a pure environment of natural pastures where the best lambs in the country are produced.

The average weight per lamb carcass in the region varies between 9 and 13 kg.
